When the TreePaad Fun Center, a 25,000 square foot family entertainment center in Malta, NY, suffered extensive fire damage, the owners Patti Garrand and Candy Cross turned to Adjusters International/Basloe, Levin & Cuccaro (AI/BLC) to secure their financial recovery. The owners' had a steadfast dedication to reopening their center, even when faced with a long and arduous insurance claim process, which led Play Meter Magazine, a leading publication for the coin-operated entertainment industry, to feature TreePaad's journey to recovery in their August 2013 edition.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the fire, Garrand and Cross were unable to enter the building for 45 days while police investigated its cause. Once arson was ruled, the recovery efforts were finally able to begin. But, the delay itself had caused more damage to the contents of the building, and the owners quickly realized that they needed the help of an expert to help them through the insurance claims process. After many months of hard work in documenting the full extent of the damage and putting together a comprehensive insurance claim, AI/BLC was able to fully settle the content portion of their claim, enabling the center to reopen just six months after the fire.
